  • Carpet and mats shampooed

Our most complete wash, inside, outside and under the bonnet.

  • Safe on electric and hybrid cars. Everything is done by hand, the charge port stays closed, and the rinse is gentle and never aimed at the charge port, seams or sensors.

How your car is washed

The same four steps on every wash with an outside clean, in this order, with pro kit.

  1. A Mercedes SUV covered in pre-wash snow foam at the kerb

    Step 1

    Snow foam pre-wash

A thick layer of pH-neutral snow foam softens road grime and lifts grit off the paint before anything touches it. The wheels get their own cleaner and their own brushes.

  2. A gloved hand with a wash mitt hand washing a foamed white car door

    Step 2

    Two-bucket hand wash

Washed by hand, panel by panel, with a soft microfibre mitt and two buckets: one to wash, one to rinse the mitt, so the dirt never goes back onto your paint.

  3. A valeter in hi-vis rinsing a white SUV on a driveway

    Step 3

    Deionised water rinse

Rinsed with deionised water carried in the van. It has the minerals taken out, so it dries without leaving water spots.

  4. Drying a white bonnet with a grey microfibre towel

    Step 4

    Microfibre dry and finish

Dried by hand with clean, soft microfibre towels. The tyres are dressed and, on washes that include it, the wax goes on and is buffed to a shine.

See the other 8 steps
  1. HD Carnauba wax or paint sealant, your choice

After the dry, your choice of HD Carnauba wax or a protective paint sealant is applied by hand, panel by panel, and buffed off with microfibre for a deep, protected gloss.

  2. Engine bay cleaned

Sensitive electrics and the air intake are covered, a degreaser is worked in with soft detailing brushes, a gentle low-pressure rinse takes it away, and the plastics and rubber are dressed.

  3. Gutters and fluids

The boot and bonnet gutters are cleared of leaves and grime, the screenwash is topped up and the oil and fluid levels are checked.

  4. Vacuumed throughout

Seats, carpets, mats and boot vacuumed, with crevice tools between and under the seats.

  5. Surfaces wiped

Door shuts, door cards, centre console and dash wiped with an interior cleaner that is safe on plastics, trim and screens, then buffed with microfibre.

  6. Glass cleaned

The inside of every window cleaned streak-free with a dedicated glass cleaner and a fresh microfibre cloth.

  7. Seats and carpets shampooed

Fabric seats, carpets and mats shampooed and the dirt drawn out with a wet extraction vacuum. Leather is cleaned with a pH-balanced leather cleaner and a soft brush, then conditioned.

  8. Spare wheel area

The boot floor lifted and the spare wheel area vacuumed out.

Questions about the Full Valet

Wax or sealant: which should I choose?

Either is a great finish. HD Carnauba gives a deep, warm, wet-look gloss; the protective paint sealant gives a slick, glassy finish that's built to last. Tell your valeter on the day, or add a note when you book.

Is a Full Valet right for a car I've just bought?

Yes, it's the ideal start: every surface cleaned inside and out, the seats and carpets shampooed, and the paint protected from day one.

How often should I book a Full Valet?

Many owners book one every three to six months, with a Mini Valet PLUS in between to keep it at its best.

Can I add a machine polish?

Yes. Add the clay bar and machine polish for glass-smooth paint and a deeper shine, finished with your wax or sealant.
